The coconut trunk and the X of the wooden base are polished with a varnished and the surface is made even by a plywood plank.
If someone wants to decorate then they can lay a green acrylic or plastic lawn on it. It looks better.
Costing - The wooden planks costs around 30 Rs each. The plywood cover costs around 150 Rs and the artificial lawn costs around 400 Rs for a 94 cm x 32 cm piece. The whole garden bench is within 500 Rs giving immense pleasure both to the person who makes it and the viewers.
